He was felt like a coward who couldn't man up to tell Whitney how he feels for her and now it's too late....... she leaving.... he won't see her for a whole year.
what if she gets a boyfriend over there that thought gave him chills down his spine and he regretted not telling her his feelings. He walked dejectedly out of the airport to his car. He leaned on the car filled with regrets, kicking the wheels of his car like it was the source of his pain.
Tears gazed his eyes threatening to pour out, he got into his car and drove to a nearby bar.
He went into the bar and ordered for two shots of tequila, gulping it down at once, he thought about Whitney beautiful face, her smiles were contagious and he couldn't help hut smile to himself.
Remembering that he wouldn't be seeing her in a year and the possibility of she getting a boyfriend hurt him the most.
"I should've told her how I feel" he murmured to himself. He didn't want her to leave nor could he stop her, she needed the break...... she had endured a lot.
And if she gets a boyfriend during her stay there then they were not meant to be he thought. He on his part had to fulfill his promise he had to deliver the letter to her family. He got off the stool went out of the bar and entered his car then drove to Whitney's house.
Meanwhile at Whitney's house:
Whitney's dad, Mr Patrick Hayes was pacing the living room worried about Whitney, so was her siblings...... they've tried calling her but she wasn't answering nor returning their calls. They were too worried to think about eating dinner.
Whitney mom, Mrs. Sherry Hayes didn't look bothered nor concerned. The door bell went off
"Stacey quick, go check who's at the door" Mr Patrick said.
Stacey rushed to open the door and found Jack outside.
"Hey Jack is Whitney with you" she asked peeping behind him to see if Whitney was with him.
"No, can I come in" he asked... Stacey stepped aside for him to come in before shutting the door and followed behind him.
"Good evening man, sir" Jack greeted
"Good evening son, were you able to find Whitney" Mr Patrick asked eagerly
"I did" Jack replied
"Then where is she why isn't she with you" Stacey asked
"That's because she left" he said
"Left??" They chorused..."to where" Jace further asked.
"Whitney left for Texas this evening she wanted to clear her head so she figured a year vacation would do her good" Jack explained
"And she also gave me this letter to give to you" Jack added handing the letter to Mr Patrick who took it.
" Hah I knew it, Whitney has gone to expand her whoreing business or probably she went to leave with one of her numerous boyfriends" Mrs Sherry said.
Pissed off Mr Patrick yelled "will you shut that your mouth there"
"Patrick did you just yell at me" Mrs Sherry was shocked, this was the first time her husband yelled at her.
"Yes and I would do more if you speak one more bad word about Whitney, have you no shame.....
How you be down grading your daughter and speaking bad words about her when you should be in support of her......
Dare say one more bad word about Whitney and you would see what I'll do to you" Mr Patrick yelled. He had enough with her insolence and he wouldn't have her insult his daughter.
He read through Whitney letter with Stacey, and he understood her reason for leaving.
"Thank you Jack for helping my daughter I wish I could repay you" Mr Patrick appreciated
"it's no problem sir I'm happy I could help.... I'll be leaving now good night" Jack said before walking out.
Mr Patrick sighed heavily missing his daughter, this would the first time she would be far from home and he hoped she would be alright.
Stacey on the other hand couldn't contain the anger that was heating inside her. Because of the woman who calls herself their mom Whitney has left home, she wouldn't be seeing her twin sister for a long time.
And the worst part is that Whitney didn't even try to clear her name, so she decided to give her mom a piece of her mind.
"I guess you must be happy now, you've succeeded in pushing Whitney away, I keep wondering what kind of mother are you......
You don't ask for explanations you just assump and then you judge irrationally without reasoning" Stacey said
"What how dare you talk to me like that" Mrs Sherry raised her hand to slap Stacey but her hand stopped hallway
"Why did you stop, go ahead slap me, come on slap me that's what you know how to do best, how to slap people.......
Have you ever asked Whitney to explain herself whenever something goes wrong or have you ever encouraged her in whatever she did......
Where you ever supportive of Whitney? Huh? Tell me..... no you haven't......
All you ever do is flare up make wrong assumptions about Whitney, you slap her like she's a piece of wood, you complain about her flaws and mistakes but you never notice the good side of her.......
You compare with her peers when she's been trying to please you, she joined several contest just to prove she can be just as good as the peers you compare her to......
That dance contest she joined she did it for you, to please you but what did you do you disowned her because you saw some stupid videos......
Those videos aren't even real, Whitney was framed because she refused to sleep with a guy.....
She would have proved her innocence but you never gave her a chance to....
I regret having you as a mother, I regret Whitney being a softie, I regret everything, and if anything should happen to Whitney you would have yourself to blame, I would never forgive you" Stacey yelled of this in tears before racing up the stairs to her room banging the door shut
Jace and Erick also left the scene to their room.
Leaving just Mr and Mrs Hayes in the room.
Mr Patrick shook his head and said "look you've turned your own children against you, bravo you're the best mother in the world" he mocked leaving Mrs Sherry to her thoughts.
Mrs Sherry began remembering all the times she had yelled at Whitney, the times she compared Whitney with her peers, she was never supportive, she always made assumptions about Whitney and never bothered to find the truth.
She remembered how Whitney did nice things to please her but she only noticed the flaws and mistakes.
She had really been a bad mother. What she wanted was to Train Whitney into a 4 responsible young woman and she thought the only she could do that was by being strict.
She never knew she had been hurting her daughter badly. Realization hit her had when she remembered she has disowned Whitney and pushed her away with bad words.
She slid to the floor tears rushing out of her eyes.
"no...no...no..no.. this is not happening..what have I done" she murmured palming her head
I haven't possibly disowned my daughter have I? She remembered how she had disgraced Whitney earlier that day, she couldn't believe she wished Whitney died at birth.
She never meant those things she loves Whitney a lot and coul
She began to regret her actions
She hastily stood and took her car keys then raced out of the house and got into her car before driving off at a high speed to Jack's house.
She got to his house and knocked impatiently on his door.
Jack opened the door and was surprised to see Mrs Sherry
"Um is there something wrong" he asked
"Jack I need you to tell me where Whitney is, I have to talk to her" Mrs. Sherry said
"Sorry mam I don't know where she went to" Jack lied .
Why should he tell Whitney mother where she is when she is the reason Whitney left in the first place.
"Please she must have told you something please tell me" she pleaded desperately
"Sorry I dont know" he said before closing the door on her face.
Sherry sighed sadly this is all her fault she should have been a better mother, now she doesn't even know her daughter is.
She walked to her car with tears in her eyes before driving herself home filled with regrets
